Life on our farm (Part 3)

On the outskirts of the Boland

After a busy harvest season behind us, our vines are going into rest for the winter months while our wines on the other hand is in the process of being hand crafted to perfection.

This time of the year it is like time is standing still at Esona. Guests are transported into a new world of relaxation when sitting on the Old Cellar deck, savouring in the natural beauty of our valley while overlooking the Langeberg and Riviersonderend mountains. There is also just something about enjoying a glass of wine amongst the very vineyards that produced it.

During the Easter holidays we were once again reminded by guests of our beautiful setting, unique wine tasting and tasty deli offerings at the Old Cellar.

A recent review on TripAdvisor stated Esona to be an “unexpected surprise when visiting the down to earth, small town, discovered on the outskirts of the Boland”. The review also compliments our “well trained and extremely professional staff that will make anyone feel like a wine master”.

We look forward to share our magnificent views with you. The next time that you feel like you just want to relax and unwind, take a drive out to Esona and be sure that you will receive a warm welcome in a relaxing homely ambiance.
