Artist: Allen Kupeta
Allen, born in Zimbabwe in 1979, now based in Johannesburg, received his artist education at Vega, Sandton. He depicts vibrant South African scenes in lush tones and vivid brush strokes.
“My style, using acrylic on textured canvas, has been classified as being almost impressionistic as I tend to leave visible brush strokes amongst the broken up colours, which all blend together to form an image when viewed from the right distance.”
